Needle treatment

Needle aponeurotomy, also known as needle aponeurotomy (NA) or percutaneous needle aponeurotomy (PNF), is a minimally invasive technique popularised in France over 30 years ago. The aim of NA is to restore function to contracted fingers by straightening them while minimising side effects. The technique uses a needle to weaken or rupture the contracted cord until it is broken by a mechanical force, typically triggering a characteristic snap.
